I just want to continue how hard it is to be a child in this world. Abigail is in her eight grade. That is the last grade in middle school and next year she is starting high school.
Their curriculum is amazing. This year so far they went to a gaming parlor where they played electronic games all day long. One day they went to see a Broadway show while on two other times they went to the movies. Last week her class was taken to a nearby MacDonald's as present from the school.
Today her class and some other eight grade classes went to Great Adventure for the entire day. They left early in the morning and should be back by 8 pm.
Thankfully this is the end of the school year and there are no more excursions planned. Remaining are the graduation ball and the graduation ceremony itself.
These little trips are not free. The parents are expected to pay the school for everything.
I can't see the education value in any of their. When I was going to school w might have gone once to see a movie at a special student screening. And surely that was a soviet film.
And these kids have the nerve to complain how hard their life is.
