Today is Passover. We are really not celebrating it but in a small way observing it. One of the observations was last night's dinner. And here is the menu:
Matzoh ball soup Gefilte fish Lamb chop with mixed vegetables and baked potato Pickles Wine, soda Cakes (poppy seed strudel, pogacsa and home made fruit cake) (the cakes were supposed to be kosher) Matzoh on the side in lieu of bread
Dinner was great. The meat was fantastic. I was really filled after it.
My wifew promises another similar feast for tonight. I can't wait.
Love these holidays, regardless of the religion.
Last night, we had the Kellners for dinner. According to them the dinner was exceptionally good. Recipes were asked. We akso listened to an operetta concert dvd from Fovarosi Operettszinhaz. Mostly Lehar and kalman. Terrific.
