Snow

Today is Saturday, January 29, 2022. The first " monster storm" of the season arrived, as predicted by the weather people. This morning we woke up to about 30" of snow covering everything and still snowing. My wife took Robin out for his health walk, and he needed to be carefully watched. That dog is so small that he can easily disappear in a 30 inch deep snow pile.

It is a good thing that he hates snow and as soon as he paints the nice white snow yellow he turns around and heads home. The temperature is about 17 degrees Fahrenheit, so the snow is staying for now. Nothing is moving outside excepts the snowplows are going back and forth. Our cars are covered with tarpaulin, and we have no reason to go anywhere.

Besides, today is Sabbath and most of the stores in this neighborhood are closed. Yesterday we stopped in a supermarket and saw people shopping like the end of the world was coming. It is unbelievable that every time something like this happens people shop like this was their last chance in this world.

I was watching news shows this morning and the weather forecasters were practically dancing on cameras from happiness that this time they were right and what they forecasted actually did come true. I never had such an easy job!
