The City of Minneapolis is paying $27 million to the family of George Floyd. I know, I already mentioned it a few days ago. But in today's news there was an item that two jurors, who were already selected were removed from the panel. As it was noted they were removed because of their prejudicial feelings about this payout.
This is not normal. Who would not have prejudicial feeling about such a compensation? Maybe brother Sharpton. He probably says it is not enough.
I wonder if the compensation would have been this large if the victim were white!

Today is St. Patrick's Day. Normally, there was a huge parade on Fifth Avenue on this day and bars along Second Avenue in Manhattan were wall to wall with Irish and Irish wanna bees celebrating this day.
But, normal is no longer in our vocabulary. Normal is a word archeologists will find years down when they dig for what happened to today's society. What made this society suddenly change. It will be a mystery as it is with the disappearance of the Incas, or the residents of Machu Pichu.
Now we are using expressions like "it used to be" or "way back when". The sad and at the same time funny is that we are getting used to it. I really don't know if things would go back to normal would we know how to deal with it, could we deal with it and would we want to deal with it?
I bet you contributed to the compensation to George Floyd! That might expain the 27 million. Wonder what his family will do with the money. Can you imagine how much the compensation would be if he wasnt just a small time crimminal?
